For this reason, change doesn't begin with bricks or concrete. It begins with hearts, hands, and lives changed. This is why we exist: to build cities by building people.

Our story
Short-term aid was not enough.
For years, SaltCity Church focused on charity—food, clothing, and scholarships. From 2016 to 2023 that meant food aid for the Igbene-Ehrenren community and the annual “Share a Christmas” program, which clothed over 5,000 children in Warri.
In 2023, after a community assessment showed deeper challenges, we became convinced that real change starts with a mindset shift. That led to The CityBuilders in 2024.

Programs
Everything we do is rooted in three thematic areas.
Education
Education is the foundation for lasting change. Through our free school and learning programs, we provide young people access to quality education.
Mindset reformation
Real change starts with how people think. Our Mindset Reformation & Community Engagement Program helps shift mindsets and empower young people to take active roles in their communities.
Economic development
We equip youths with practical skills to thrive and build sustainable cities. When young people are equipped to succeed, they drive local economies, reduce poverty, and generate employment.
Education — our pilot
The Foundation Montessori.
A free school on Okumagba Avenue. We aim to inspire each child's potential and foster holistic development—nurturing intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth.
